MPS hands over headquarters to Lao Ministry of Security’s Representative Office in Vietnam

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) of Vietnam held a ceremony on December 2 to hand over a MPS-funded new building to the Lao Ministry of Security’s Representative Office in Hanoi.


The ceremony saw the presence of Major General Le Tan Toi, Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, Mr. Sengphet Houngboungnuang, Lao Ambassador to Vietnam, Colonel Phayvanh Sitthi Chanh, Chief Representative of the Lao Ministry of Security (MoS) in Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Tan Toi stated that the great friendship and special solidarity, comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two States, and the peoples of the two countries in general, between the Vietnamese MPS and the Lao MoS in particular have been strengthened and deepened over the past time. 

The Vietnam People's Public Security Forces always stand shoulder to shoulder, support and assist the Lao People's SecurityForces.

Delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the new building of the Lao Ministry of Security’s Representative Office.

The Deputy Minister hoped that with the newly built premises, the representative office of the Lao MoS in Vietnam will have a favorable working and living environment, contributing to improving the efficiency of cooperation between two ministries.

Senior Colonel Phayvanh Sitthi Chanh sincerely thanked the Vietnamese MPS, affirming that the representative agency of the Lao MoS in Vietnam will contribute to bringing the traditional relationship and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam in general, and between the two ministries in particular to new heights.
