MPS holds meeting in regard to Traditional Day of People's Security Force

General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS) on July 8 chaired a meeting with the participation of generations of leaders of the People’s Security Force to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the force’s Traditional Day (July 12, 1946 - 2020).

    On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Minister To Lam warmly welcomed and wished health to all leaders and former leaders of the MPS and retired officers of the People's Security Forces.

    General To Lam appreciated the great achievements and contributions of generations of the People's Security Force over the past 74 years. 

    He hoped that all retired officers would continue contributing ideas to building a revolutionary, elite and modern People's Security Force in the coming time.

    In the coming time, the Minister stressed that the Public Security Forces would continue to give good advice to the Party and State on crafting economic, social and foreign policies and strategies; ensure security, order and social safety.

    The People's Security Forces to actively detect, prevent and defeat plots and attempts of political opportunists and hostile forces; resolutely fight criminals; and effectively resolve complex issues from the grassroots level to deserve the trust of the Party, the State and the people.

    At the meeting, Lieutenant General Hoang Duc Chinh, former Deputy Director General of the General Department of Security believed that in the coming time, under the leadership of the MPS, the People's Security Force would promote the heroic tradition and achieve new and greater achievements.
