MPS honors outstanding teachers

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony on November 19 to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and give the title “Excellent Teacher” of various levels to teachers and educational administrators from public security academies and schools.

The event saw the presence of Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Van Phuc, representatives from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, delegates from all public security schools and educators holding titles “People’s Teacher,” “Meritorious Teacher” and “Excellent Teacher”. Major General Do Anh Tuan, Director of the Training Department, chaired the event.

Alongside the development of the Public Security Forces, the contingent of teachers and educational administrators at public security schools and academies has continuously grown in terms of both quantity and quality over the past 75 years. So far, all public security academies and schools have 3,278 teachers, 1,197 educational administrators, including 14 Professors, 97 Associate Professors, 22 People's Teachers, 170 Meritorious Teachers, 579 Doctors, 2,312 masters of art.

Outstanding teachers honored at the event. 

This year, 25 teaching staff and educational educators from public security schools and academies received the title “Excellent Teacher 2020” of the ministerial level at the event.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son expressed heart-felt gratitude to the senior teachers, People’s Teachers and Meritorious Teachers and sent best wishes to all of the teaching staff and education administrators at public security schools and academies.
