MPS leader congratulates Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on its founding anniversary

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, led a delegation on July 28 to visit and congratulate the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the 91st anniversary of their founding day (July 28, 1929 – 2020).
At the meeting. 

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh extended congratulations to all leaders and members of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor across the country on the occasion of its founding anniversary. 

Over the past 91 years, the Confederation of Labor of Vietnam has grown in all aspects, becoming the largest socio-political organization representing and ensuring legitimate rights and interests of laborers. 

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the General Confederation of Labor have actively coordinated in various fields, including ensuring security and order in the areas with large number of laborers. 

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh hopes that the General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam would continue to effectively direct operation of the Trade Union chapter of the Public Security Forces. 

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the General Confederation of Labor, thanked the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS for their concern over the General Confederation as well as the Trade Union organization of the Public Security Forces in particular. 

Khang expressed his hope that the cooperation between the two sides would further develop, contributing to the cause of ensuring security and order, and socio-economic development of the country.
