MPS leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

PSNews - The Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) paid floral tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh on January 3rd prior to the 74th National Conference of Public Security Forces. 

The tribute ceremony was held at the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in the headquarters of the MPS and was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, Minister of Public Security. The event was also joined by members of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS.

In front of President Ho Chi Minh' statue, representatives of the MPS briefed on the forces' tasks performance over the past year.

In spite of fluid security situations in the region and world in 2018, under the guidance of the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, with the close and effective coordination of the Defense Ministry and other relevant ministries and branches in the political system, and thanks to the great support from the people, the Public Security Forces have overcome all difficulties and challenges, and successfully fulfilled the tasks of protecting national security and ensuring social order and safety.

Regarding Party building, the Public Security Forces took the lead in implementing Resolution No.18-NQ/W of the 12th Party Central Committee on further rearranging and streamlining the apparatus of the political system for effective and efficient operation.

The Public Security Forces have continued to tighten regulations and disciplines among the forces while further promoting the implementation of the movement of "Public Security Forces studying and following the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho" and other emulation movements and campaigns. This made positive changes in task performances of public security officers and soldiers, and produced many excellent examples in fighting and preventing crimes.

Entering 2019, the international, regional and domestic situations may continue to develop negatively, posing many challenges to the Public Security Forces.

In front of President Ho Chi Minh' statue, members of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security promised to further promote the outstanding achievements of 2018, follow the motto "Active, Exemplary, Disciplined, Responsible and Efficient", and resolve to successfully fulfill the working plan 2019 and achieve many victories.

At the ceremony, Minister to Lam and delegates respectfully offered incense and flowers to President Ho Chi Minh, and showed their respect and gratitude to the great President.
