MPS meets NA deputies working in Public Security Forces
PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting on May 20 with National Assembly (NA) Deputies serving in the Public Security Force, amid the ongoing 7th session of the 14th NA.

General, Minister of Public Security To Lam, who chaired the meeting, welcomed all the NA deputies and said that leaders of the MPS regularly hold a meeting with the public security NA deputies before an NA sitting to listen to their opinions on major issues of the country and the public order and security situation as well as briefed them on important issues of the forces so that they can reports these issues to the NA and voters in a timely manner.
Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs and Administrative, Judicial Reforms under the MPS, summarized the progress of several relevant draft laws to be submitted and discussed at the NA. According to him, the MPS is responsible for drafting 11% of the laws to be submitted to this NA session.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam asked the public security NA deputies in the PSF to attend all meetings of the NA and make their contributions to building all bills, particularly those related to national socio-economic development, national defense and security.
