MPS planning to implement the Law on People’s Public Forces (Revised)
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on December 13, chaired a meeting with relevant agencies under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) to check a draft plan on the implementation of the Law on the People’s Public Forces (Revised) within the Public Security Forces before submitting it to the Minister for issuance.

At the meeting, the Deputy Minister asked the relevant agencies to soon accomplish their assignments to complete the draft plan on the People’s Public Forces (Revised).
He also underlined several major tasks that must be done in the coming time, including popularizing the Law to all officers and soldiers of the Public Security Forces; printing and distributing in-depth training documents suitable with the real situation of each locality; and drafting legal documents to specify the provisions of the Law.
Earlier on December 11, 2018, the State Presidential Office announced the President’s mandate on the nine newly-passed laws, including the Law on the People’s Public Forces (Revised).
