MPS seeks to streamline its apparatus

PSNews – The Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on April 20 organized a teleconference themed “Studying and implementing the Resolution No. 22-NQ / TW issued on March 15 by the Politburo and documents of the Central Public Security Party Committee on renovating and streamlining the public security apparatus for more efficiency and effectiveness.”

The teleconference saw the participation of some 6,000 leaders of the MPS and its subordinate agencies and units.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, presided at the event.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong emphasized that implementing the Resolution No. 18-NQ / TW issued on October 25, 2017, by the 12th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on “Several issues of renovating and streamlining the political apparatus for more efficiency and effectiveness”, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the MPS have actively developed a comprehensive project and submitted it to the Politburo for approval.

An overview of the conference 
Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong emphasized that the MPS had prepared for the deployment of the project since it started the implementation of the Resolution of the 12

th National Congress of the Party; as a result, it carried out various major seminars to review its organizational apparatus as well as the process of its formation and development.
