MPS sends medical supplies to Indian Red Cross Society

PSNews - Under the authority of General To Lam, Minister of Public Security (MPS), Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Son, Director of Foreign Relation Department on January 27 sent medical supplies to the Indian Red Cross Society via the Indian Embassy in Vietnam.

Sharing information about the disease situation in Vietnam, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Son stated that the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam has generally been under control. 

In the context of the complicated situation of COVID-19 in India, the MPS of Vietnam wanted to share part of its resources with the Indian Red Cross Society by sending 50,000 antibacterial face masks to it in support of its effort in the fight against the pandemic.

Ambassador Pranay Verma sincerely thanked the MPS of Vietnam and Minister To Lam for the support of the medical supplies, saying that the support has demonstrated the good traditional friendship and cooperation between India and Vietnam, particularly in the fight against the pandemic.
