MPS-sponsored housing project for poor people in Van Ho reviewed

PSNews - Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Son La Provincial Party Committee thanked the Ministry of Public Security and the Hung Yen authority as well as the benefactors for their supports for the social project.

The Son La authority in collaboration with the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Hung Yen authority held a conference on September 19 to review the housing project for poor people sponsored by the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in Van Ho district, Son La province.

As reported, over the past five months, the MPS and sponsors had built and repaired 1,383 houses (worth VND 50 billion in total) for needy families in Van Ho district, helping them to stabilize their lives and contributing to socio-economic development as well as the security and social order in the locality.

At the conference, a representatives of the housing project for poor people in Van Ho briefed participants on results and difficulties in the process of implementing this project, especially the positive impacts that this policy brings to the people.

Accordingly, the local police also collected local people’s ideas and experience with the aim of building better houses for the beneficiaries.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Son La Provincial Party Committee thanked the Ministry of Public Security and the Hung Yen authority as well as the benefactors for their supports for the social project.

He also hoped that the local Party committees, authorities and people in Van Ho district will continue to support and join hands with the local police forces in repairing and building houses for the poor.

On this occasion, the organizing board handed over certificates of merits to individuals and organizations with outstanding results in implementing the housing project for poor people in Van Ho.
