MPS visits Hanoi Bishop’s Palace as Christmas Day coming

PSNews – On the occasion of the Christmas Day, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security on December 22, visited and extended congratulations to Cardinal Phero Nguyen Van Nho, Bishop of the Hanoi diocese.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh wished Cardinal Phero Nguyen Van Nho, all priests, religious dignitaries and parishioners in Hanoi a merry Christmas season and happy New Year.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh highly appreciated the contributions of the Vietnamese Catholics to the cause of national protection, building of national unity bloc and religious unity, as well as to the maintenance of security and order, creating a stable environment for the development of the country over the past time.

Deputy Minister Thanh believed that Archbishop Nguyen Van Nho of the Hanoi diocese would continue to direct all priests, religious dignitaries and parishioners to act as good citizens while actively contributing to the development of the country and building the capital city of Hanoi as a more strong and civilized city.

On behalf of the priests, religious dignitaries and parishioners of the Hanoi diocese, Cardinal Phero Nguyen Van Nho thanked Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh and hailed the work of ensuring security and order of the Public Security Forces in 2017.

He also wished the public security officers and soldiers good health so as to successfully fulfill the tasks of ensuring security and order, maintaining the peaceful and happy life for the people in 2018.
