Medical Laboratory Sector of Hospital 198 receives third-class Labor Medal

Under the authority of the President of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son attached the insignia of the third-class Labor Medal on the Traditional Flag of the Medical Laboratory Sector of Hospital 198.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. The event was also attended by leaders of units under the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health.

The Medical Laboratory Sector consists of four units, including Hematology - Blood Transfusion, Biochemistry, and Microbiology and Pathology, is in charge of performing specialized and in-depth tests, distributing blood for emergency and medical treatment, training medical personnel and giving professional guidance to lower-level health facilities.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Ministry of Public Security's leaders, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of Hospital 198 in general and generations of the doctors and medical technicians working with the Medical Laboratory Sector in particular over the past 40 years.

The deputy minister asked all doctors and medical technicians of Hospital 198, including those at the Medical Laboratory Sector, to always heighten their sense responsibility in caring sick public security officers, while actively coordinating with relevant agencies of the Ministry of Public Security to promote the quality of their medical services to meet an increasing need of public security officers for health care.
