Minister To Lam attends charitable program in Dak Nong

PSNews - The Central Highlands Steering Committee in coordination with the Central Highlands Security Department, Hoa Sen Group, Minh Phat Dak Lak Company and the Vietnam National University of Agriculture organized the fourth program "Giving love" in Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia town, Dak Nong province on December 19.

Minister To Lam, member of the Politburo, Head of the Central Highlands Steering Committee and Minister of Public Security attended the event.

The program was organized under the spirit of "The good leaves protect the worn-out leaves", sharing difficulties and bringing a warm spring and meaningful Lunar New Year (Tet) to Dak Nia people, at the same time promoting the movement "All people protecting national security."

Within the program, Minister To Lam and the charitable mission handed over 10 gratitude houses (worth 50 million VND each) to local needy households. The charitable mission also presented 200 packs of gift to Dak Lak Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; six packs of gift to village patriarchs and reputable individuals; 100 packs of gift to national contributors; 100 packs of gift to needy families; 10 packs of gift to individuals with great contribution to the movement of "All people protecting national security." The mission also gave crop seeds and agricultural machines to local farmers.

At the meeting, Minister To Lam thanked the previous generations who had sacrificed for and contributed to national peace and independence and inquired after them. He also encouraged local people to work hard to reduce poverty as well as to actively take part in the movement of “All people protecting national security.”

In a joyful atmosphere, on behalf of the needy local households receiving gifts, Old K'Won (resident of N'Jieng village, Dak Nia commune) extended deep thanks to Minister To Lam and delegates, saying that the sentiment of the minister and the police delegates was their great honor and a source of encouragement for all local families.
