After offering incense at Tu Giap Pagoda, representatives of the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Security, the project investment manager, reported to the Minister the progress of the construction of the memorial site.

The project has total investment of about 89 billion VND, which had been donated by public security cadres and soldiers. The memorial site covers a total area of 2.6 hectares and is expected to be completed in March 2018, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s sending a letter with the 6 teachings to the Director of Public Security Zone 12, Hoang Mai.
Minister To Lam highly appreciated the coordination between the Ministry of Public Security, the Bac Giang Provincial Police and the local authorities in clearing land for construction, and ensuring security and order during the construction. The Minister asked the project manager and the construction company, the local authorities to complete the project on time.
The Minister stressed that the project plays an important role as it serves as a reminder of the special care of Uncle Ho and His six teachings for the public security forces.
On this occasion, Minister To Lam also offered incense at the memorial monument of heroic martyrs of Tan Yen district and presented 50 million VND to Chua Nguon hamlet to renovate the village's cultural house.
