Minister To Lam congratulates General Confederation of Labor of Vietnam

PSNews – On the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security on July 28 visited and presented flowers of congratulations to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.

On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam presented congratulation flowers and extended best wishes to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, labors, officials, workers and employees of trade unions at all level on the occasion of the 88th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Minister To Lam affirmed that, over the past 88 years, the Vietnam Trade Union has contributed to every development of the country, making many achievements in the past national liberation wars, as well as in the current construction and defense of the Fatherland.

The Vietnam Trade Union is always a revolutionary organization, serving as the only legal representative for the rights and interests of workers, said Minister To Lam.

According to the minister of Public Security, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour has also paid special attention to the People's Public Security Forces’ Trade Union, directing it to operate effectively, and helping the armed forces protect the Fatherland sovereignty, for a stronger and more beautiful Vietnam.

Minister Lam hopes that, in the coming time, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will continue paying attention to and coordinating with the People's Public Security Forces’ Trade Union to fulfill all assigned duties.

Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour Tran Thanh Hai thanked the Ministry of Public Security for his warm sentiment for those who work at trade unions at all level.

Mr. Tran Thanh Hai then expressed his belief that the relationships between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Ministry of Public Security in general and the People's Public Security Forces’ Trade Union in particular will further grow, contributing to maintaining security and order and the socio-economic development of the country.
