Minister To Lam inquires after sick and wounded soldiers at nursing center in Thuan Thanh
General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, on July 24 visited and inquired after sick and wounded soldiers treated at the nursing center of Thuan Thanh, Bac Ninh, on the occasion of the 72nd Day of War Invalids and Martyrs.

Nguyen Khac Du, Director of the nursing center, said that the center is now nursing 98 sick and wounded soldiers from 23 provinces and cities, who suffer different kinds and levels of injuries and illnesses. Of the figure, there is one soldier who had participated in the war against French colonialists, 62 sick or wounded veterans of the war against American imperialists, and 35 others wounded during the period of national construction and protection.
Minister To Lam inquired after the veterans and reconfirmed that the Party, State and people always remember and respect their contributions and sacrifices for the nation.
Minister To Lam also spoke highly of the efforts of the center staff in taking care of the veterans. The Ministry of Public Security offers every wounded soldier a magnetic cooker.
