Minister To Lam meets with US National Security Advisor McMaster
PSNews – Minister of Public Security of Vietnam To Lam on November 11 received US National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster when he was accompanying the US President to the APEC Summit in Da Nang and on his State visit to Vietnam.

At the meeting in Da Nang, Minister To Lam expressed his delight at the fine results of the Vietnam-US relationship since the two countries established diplomatic relations. He emphasized that the two countries have great opportunities to further strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the areas of economics, trade, investment, national defense and security.
In addition, Minister Lam hoped that the cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Vietnam and the US would be further enhanced, particular in prevention and fight against crimes, especially transnational and hi-tech crimes.
The US National Security Advisor thanked Minister Lam for the kind reception and highlighted the fine development in the bilateral relations and cooperation between Vietnam and the US over the past time. He also hope that the cooperative ties between the two countries would further develop and attain more and more achievements in all fields of cooperation.
Mr. McMaster said that the US President and other senior US officials attending the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week were deeply impressed by the security and protection of the Security Forces of Vietnam. He also believed that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and relevant agencies of the US will continue their coordination and cooperation, contributing to the bilateral ties between the two countries.
