Minister To Lam meets with overseas Vietnamese in Laos
During his visit to Lao People’s Democratic Republic at the invitation of his Lao counterpart Vilay Lakhamphong, General To Lam, Politburo Member and Minister of Public Security on February 11 visited the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, laid flowers at the Laos-Vietnam Combat Alliance Monument and met with overseas Vietnamese in the country.

Minister To Lam affirmed that the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam always encourage overseas Vietnamese to turn toward the Fatherland and join common efforts in building Vietnam as a strong and prosperous country.
He also wished that the overseas Vietnamese community would unite and integrate with local society, make contributions to promoting the development of their second homeland and fostering the great friendship between the two countries.
The Minister also noted that the overseas Vietnamese should comply with the laws of the local country and build a united Vietnamese community, as well as contribute to the sustainable development of Vietnam - Laos relations.
*On the same day, Minister To Lam and the visiting Vietnamese delegation laid a wreath at the Laos-Vietnam Combat Alliance Monument.
