Minister To Lam offers incense at A1 National Martyrs’ Cemetery

PSNews – A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by General To Lam, Minister of Public Security paid tribute to martyrs at A1 National Martyrs’ Cemetery, Muong Thanh ward, Dien Bien Phu city on October 13.

At the cemetery, the delegation offered flowers and incense in tribute to the heroic martyrs, who had bravely fought and sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation. |
They promised to exert all-out efforts to fulfill all tasks assigned by the Party and the people, while contributing positively to the building of the Public Security Forces. |
A1 National Martyrs Cemetery was built in 1958, covering an area of 3.2 hectares. It is located a few hundred meters south of A1 hill. This is the resting place of 644 soldiers who fought and died in the historic Dien Bien Phu Campaign in 1954. |
As reported, the martyrs' graves here are mostly unknown. Today, A1 National Martyrs' Cemetery is a witness of history, reminding the next generations to always follow the examples, remember the merits of martyrs, indomitable revolutionary traditions. |
