The delegation of the Ministry of Public Security led by Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security paid a working visit on February 16th to the Yen Bai Provincial Police.
The working session saw the participation of Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and other leaders of the Yen Bai Provincial People’s Committee.
At the working session, Major General Dang Tran Chieu, Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Police reported Minister To Lam on the outcomes of ensuring social order in 2016, and its task performance in the first 2 months of 2017.

The Yen Bai Provincial Police has synchronously and effectively deployed professional measures to maintain local security and order while focusing on its key tasks, which have been mentioned in the Resolution of the Central Public Security Party Committee.
During the peak periods, especially festival season, the local police force mobilized its assets and efforts to gain fruitful results in maintaining social order, cracking down on crimes and preventing fire at cultural tourist attractions.
On behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To lam highly appreciated and praised the large achievements obtained by the Yen Bai Provincial Police in the past time, contributing significantly to local socio-economic development.
Senior Lieutenant General To Lam also underlined that the Yen Bai Provincial Police is the core force in protecting security and social order in the locality. The force should improve their knowledge, expertise, skills and physical strength to better support local leaders and protect local people.
