Minister To Lam praises typical examples of the People's Public Security Forces

In the letter, Minister To Lam writes:

Leaders (Ministry of Public Security) have been reported that there have been a large number of articles, information, video clips and pictures recently published by news agencies, newspapers and sites of social networks  displaying beautiful images of officers of the People's Public Security Forces, who had done good deeds for the people and society, following the slogan "To be ready to sacrifice oneself for the country and devote oneself to serve the people".

The good deeds of the public security officers that have been receiving a lot of praises from the people include: two police officers helped a mother with her seriously ill little child go through traffic jams in Ho Chi Minh City to hospital in time for emergency treatment; three Hanoi's policemen gave first aid to three injured people of the same family in a road accident, and then took them to hospital in time; officers of the Lai Chau Provincial Police made great efforts to evacuate people from flooded areas, to name but a few.

As the Public Security Forces participated in ensuring security and safety for the National High School Exams 2018, some police officers gave hands to candidates who had problems on their way to exam locations. For instance, in Hanoi, police officers offered free drinking water to students and took candidates with their bikes broken on the way to the exam locations. Police officers in Ha Giang mobilized vehicles to drive students in flood-hit areas to their exam places while the police in Ho Chi Minh City worked under heavy rains to guide traffic flows, facilitating candidates’ traveling to their exam places, and offered free rain coats to students.

These above-mentioned acts of police officers showed not only the high sense of responsibility for their work and dedicatedness to serving the people, but also humanity of the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces, Minister To Lam added.

The Minister continued that, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, he acknowledged and applauded the good acts of the People's Public Security Forces nationwide.

He expressed his hope that all public security officers will continue to do more good deeds for the people and contributing to maintaining security and order of the country.

Minister To Lam asked that the public security agencies and units from the Central- to local- level to reward individuals and units with their good deeds, helping people out of difficult situations.

He urged the General Department of Politics under the Ministry of Public Security to promote the movement "Everyday doing a good thing for the people" and duplicate good examples, contributing to building strong and clean People's Public Security Forces.
