The delegation was joined by Mr. Nguyen Nhan Chien, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee; and Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Long, Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department.
The Thuan Thanh War Wounded and Sick Soldiers Nursing Center is home to 98 seriously wounded and sick soldiers who have been rated as 81% and more disabled.
In spite of being wounded, these soldiers always strive to overcome their mental and physical pains, follow the teachings of Uncle, and set a bright example for other people.
General To Lam and kind donors presented 99 smart televisions to the wounded and sick soldiers at the center in the hope that these war veterans would have better cultural lives and closely follow current news about politics, economy, public order and security.
On behalf of nearly 100 wounded soldiers at the center, Mr. Dinh Van Bach thanked the Minister of Public Security and kind donors for their sentiment and meaningful gifts.
He believed that the empathy and support from the Ministry of Public Security and donors would energize the wounded soldiers so that they would overcome their difficulties and hardships, and live a better and joyful life in the future.
