Minister To Lam receives incoming Cuban Ambassador
PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, received Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera, newly accredited Ambassador of Cuba to Vietnam.

Minister Lam congratulated Ms. Lianys Torres Rivera and wished her success on her new position in Vietnam.
The Minister emphasized that the relations between Vietnam and Cuba in general and between the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the Ministry of the Interior of Cuba in particular have been strengthened in various fields, including foreign affairs, security, education, science and health, over the past years.
The MPS of Vietnam and the Interior Ministry of Cuba have also expanded their cooperation in different fields.
Minister Lam hoped that, on her new position, Ms. Lianys Tores Rivera will make a large contribution to promoting the solidarity, comprehensive cooperation and mutual trust between the two Parties, States and Peoples of Vietnam and Cuba in general and between the MPS of Vietnam and the Interior Ministry of Cuba in particular.
Ms Lianys Tores Rivera thanked Minister Lam for the kind reception, emphasized that she would try her best to promote and deepen the fine relations between the two counties in various fields.
