PSNews – General To Lam, Politburo’s member, Minister of Public Security, recently sent a letter praising three households in Quang Tri Province, who donated their land to build workplace for the police posts in three communes, Huong Hoa District.

In his letter, Minister To Lam wishes the families good health, happiness and success, and hopes that they would continue to promote their families’ tradition of patriotism and further support the Public Security Forces to successfully fulfill their tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the people.

As the Public Security (CAND) Newspaper earlier reported, in 2020 three professional police officers from the Huong Hoa District Police Station were assigned to Tan Long Commune, in line with the project of the Ministry of Public Security on posting professional police officers to communes.

Mr. Vo Van Chung and his wife Doan Thi Thoi, residing in Long Hop village, Tan Long Commune, voluntarily donated 1,600 square meters.

However, it was difficult to find a suitable site, due to the local mountainous terrain, to build workplace and accommodation for the professional communal police forces.

Recognizing the situation, Mr. Vo Van Chung and his wife Doan Thi Thoi, residing in Long Hop village, Tan Long Commune, voluntarily donated 1,600 square meters of their farmland to the communal police force to build the communal office.

In A Ngo Commune, Mr. Ho Lo and his wife Ho Thi Thuy, residing in A Rong Duoi village, also voluntarily donated 1,300 square meters to the A Ngo commune police force to build the office.

The couple had donated a total of more than 10,000 square meters of land in favorable area to build offices of the A Ngo Commune People’s Committee, as well as local school, inter-village road.

In Huong Viet border commune, the family of Mr. Ho Van Minh, residing in Xa Dung village, voluntarily donated 1,500 square meters of their land to the commune police to build their workspace.
