The event also saw the presence of public security deputy ministers: Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, and Major General Le Tan Toi.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister To Lam stated that the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) and requirements for socio-economic development of the country in the coming years and the need to modernize the Public Security Forces by 2030 pose many important tasks to the three sectors.
These include improving technical infrastructure networks of communications, cipher equipment and IT to support professional activities and operations of public security units and agencies.
The Minister requested that more investments should be given to projects to develop public security communications, cipher and computing networks of the Public Security Forces.
Meanwhile, the public security communications, cipher and IT sectors should strengthen cooperation with domestic and international partners to improve their capacity, contributing positively to building the revolutionary, professional, and modernized People's Public Security Forces, General Lam added.
He also noted that new investment projects in the three sectors should aim at optimizing big database systems and synchronizing with the existing data sources.
