Minister To Lam visits and works with Guangdong Police leader

Mr. Li Chunsheng welcomed and appreciated the visit of Minister To Lam to China, and briefed the Vietnamese Minister and the visiting Vietnamese delegation on the socio-economic developments of Guangdong province.
Mr. Li also spoke highly of the multifaceted cooperation between Guangdong and Vietnamese provinces and cities, and hoped to further promote the comprehensive ties between Guangdong and other provinces and cities of Vietnam.
Minister Lam expressed his delights at visiting and working in Guangdong province. He emphasized the close relationship between Vietnamese localities and Guangdong. Guangdong is the place where President Ho Chi Minh and other many Vietnamese revolutionary predecessors lived and carried out various revolutionary activities in the past.
Minister To Lam congratulated all achievements of the authorities and people of Guangdong over the reform process under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He hoped that, with its current strengths and potentials, Guangdong will take the lead in cooperating with Vietnam in various areas.
In recent years, the cooperation between the two Ministries of Public Security of the two countries has gained various achievements, serving as an important consulting channel for both Parties, States, contributing to promoting political trust as well as the relations between the two countries.
The cooperation activities between the law enforcement agencies of Guangdong and the MPS and the provincial/municipal police units of Vietnam have also attained various achievements in criminal pursuit, operations to rescue victims of human trafficking and protection of citizens of one country in the other.
Minister To Lam asked the leaders of Guangdong to continue to promote and facilitate cooperation of security and law enforcement agencies of both sides.
