Minister To Lam wants guard forces of Vietnam and Cambodia to promote cooperation

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Minister of Public Security on January 31 received a delegation of the Royal Cambodian Gendarmerie (RCG), led by Mr. Diel Sa Run, Deputy Chief of Staff of the RCG on their working visit to Vietnam.

At the reception 

Minister Lam highly appreciated the great achievements that the Cambodian people have gained under leadership and direction of King Norodom Sihamoni and the Royal Government of Cambodia. He also congratulated Cambodia on successfully organizing the 2017 elections for councils at commune and ward levels, and expressed his belief that Cambodia will successfully hold the 2018 Senate and House elections.

Minister To Lam applauded that the Vietnamese and Cambodian guard forces actively exchanged information, advised and proposed plans to maintain security and safety of leaders of the two countries attending important events in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Minister To Lam believed that the High Command of Guard of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the RCG would promote their cooperation in the future, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two nations.

Mr. Diel Sa Run thanked the Vietnamese Minister for his kind reception. He also spoke highly of the fine cooperation between the two countries’ guard forces and wished that such cooperative ties would further develop in the future, contributing to maintaining national security and social order and safety of each country, and promoting the fine relations between the two countries and peoples.
