Minister To Lam works with Cao Bang police

A report delivered by Senior Colonel Vu Hong Quang, Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department read that, over the past time, the provincial police have promptly advised the local authorities to issue guidelines and solutions on protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety in the province. 

The provincial police also paid great attention to Party work and force building. At the same time, professional police officers were posted to all 153 communes and townships in the province in line with the project of the Ministry of Public Security. At present, each communal-level police post is staffed with at least five commissioned police officers.

At the meeting, Minister To Lam suggested the Cao Bang police effectively coordinate with the military and border guard forces of the province to ensure security in the border areas while maintaining political security, social safety, and order.

They should also take effective plans to safeguard important political events in the province as well as to ensure security and order for people during the upcoming Lunar New Year festival and spring festive season.
