Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security also attended the meeting.

The public security cultural and art sector has gradually improved its professional expertise and held various high-quality artistic activities, leaving good impressions on people at home and international friends.
Meanwhile, mass cultural and artistic movements intensively developed across the People's Public Security Forces, meeting the cultural and spiritual demands of public security officers and soldiers. Movements to create and perform artistic works about the People’s Public Security Forces were regularly held in various forms and creative ways, attracting a large number of artists nationwide.

Addressing the meeting, Minister To Lam spoke highly of the cultural and art sector’s efforts and achievements in performing its tasks over the past time.
Regarding the key missions in the coming time, the Minister asked the Department of Party and Political Affairs to advise MPS leaders on effective implementation of Party Resolutions and Directives on culture and arts while completing legal documents on State management of culture and art in the People's Public Security Forces.
They should enhance capacity of public security professional artistic troupes as well as encourage the compositions of good cultural and art works about the Public Security Forces, and organize high-quality cultural exchanges and art shows, creating widespread impacts on public security officers and soldiers as well as people, especially those in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, border and island areas.
