Minister To Lam works with Director of Liaoning Provincial Police
PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security on October 13 had a meeting with Mr. Wang Dawei, Vice Chairman of Liaoning Provincial People’s Committee cum Director of Liaoning Provincial Police, within the framework of the ongoing trip to China.

Minister To Lam congratulated all achievements of the authorities and people of Liaoning over the past 40 years of the reform process under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He hoped that, with its current strengths and potentials, Liaoning will closely cooperate with Vietnam in promoting trade, tourism, investment, science, technology, security, and law enforcement.
General Lam emphasized that, the cooperation between two sides' Ministries of Public Security has achieved many positive and effective results, and become a pillar in the friendship between Vietnam and China. He also wished that the Liaoning provincial police force will strengthen collaboration with professional units of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam as well as Vietnamese localities’ police in ensuring and maintaining social order and security.

In the immediate future, Minister Lam suggested that the Liaoning Provincial Police should set up a cooperation mechanism with the Quang Ninh Provincial Police of Vietnam, as Quang Ninh and Liaoning have many similarities in terms of geographical features, and socio-economic conditions.
Additionally, Minister To Lam underscored that, in the coming time, the Liaoning Provincial Police should promote cooperation with Vietnam in exchanging delegations, information and experience as well as fighting terrorism, drug trafficking, human trafficking and co-holding training courses and seminars on crime prevention and fight.
