Minister of Public Security decides on key positions

• Two new Deputy Ministers of Public Security appointed
• New Director of Hung Yen Provincial Police appointed

At the event, under the authority of the Public Security Minister, Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security announced and handed a retirement decision to Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep, Director of the Department for "All people protecting National Security" Movement.

He also handed a decision to post Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trang, Director of the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department, to the position of Director of the Department for "All people protecting National Security" Movement, and a decision to post Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Vinh Long Provincial Police Department to the position of Vice Director. 

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc congratulated Lieutenant General Tran Thi Ngoc Dep on her retirement and the other two police officers on their new appointment.

He hoped that the newly-appointed officers would heighten their sense of responsibility and ability, promote the unit’s solidarity, and fulfill all assigned political tasks.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Trang, the new Director of the Department for "All people protecting National Security" Movement, on behalf of the newly appointed officers, expressed thanks to the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the MPS, and promise to do his best to make positive contributions to the department’s accomplishment of tasks in the future.
