Ministry of Public Security honors Japanese officer with noble medal

The event was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security. The medal is the MPS’s recognition of Mr. Hatano Toru’s contribution to the ties between Vietnam and Japan in general and cooperation between the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Japan’s National Police Agency on fire prevention and fighting and rescue in particular.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Thanh congratulated Mr. Hatano Toru on his mission accomplishment in Vietnam, saying that the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security appreciated Mr. Hatano Toru's contribution in promoting cooperation between the two sides.
Deputy Minister Thanh hoped that the Japanese police attaché would continue his support to the development of the bilateral relations for the benefits of the peoples of the two countries, as well as for peace and prosperity in the region and the world.
Mr. Hatano Toru expressed his gratitude to the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security for the noble medal, and vowed to continue contributing, in his new position, to strengthening the bilateral relations between Vietnam and Japan in general and cooperation between the Vietnam’s Ministry of Public Security and Japan’s National Police Agency in particular.
