Under the authority of General To Lam, Minister of Public Security, Lieutenant General Nguyen Thanh Son, Director of Foreign Relations Department handed over the medical supplies that the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security present to the Ministry of Interior of Mozambique to representatives of the Mozambican Embassy in Vietnam on September 16.
Supporting the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic of Mozambique, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam wants to share part of its resources with the Mozambican Ministry of Interior by offering it 20,000 antibacterial facemasks.
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam hopes that, under the leadership of their government, the Mozambicans will soon control the pandemic.
At the meeting, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Thanh Son also handed the Minister To Lam’s letter to the Minister of Interior of Mozambique sharing information about the pandemic and approaches to control it.
Ambassador Leonardo Rosario Manuel Pene sincerely thanked the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Minister To Lam for the medical supplies, saying that the support has demonstrated the good traditional friendship and cooperation between Mozambique and Vietnam in general, between the two ministries in particular in the fight against COVID-19.
