Ministry of Public Security's leaders work with Mong Cai City Police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on November 18 visited and presented gifts to officers of the Mong Cai City Police Station.

During his working trip to Quang Ninh Province, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam on November 18 led a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security to visit and present gifts to officers of the Mong Cai City Police Station.

At the meeting, leaders of the Mong Cai City Police Station briefed the Deputy Minister and other delegates on their task performance over the past time.

Accordingly, Mong Cai, as a modern international border city, has an area of more than 500 km2, a land and sea borderline of nearly 79 km land a population of over 100,000 people. The city welcomes a large number of tourists every year. It has drawn much foreign investment and enjoyed a sharp rise in both imports and exports in recent years. 

Thanks to the sound leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee as well as great support from local agencies and people, the Mong Cai City Police have successfully fulfilled all assigned tasks.

In addition, the local police force paid great attention to fighting crimes, avoided public order and security issues becoming complicated and stamped out crime hotspots.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam urged that the Mong Cai City Police should continue to promote their achievements and successfully fulfill their tasks. 

The Deputy Minister emphasized that, in the coming time, the Mong Cai City Police should finish the deployment of professional police officers to communes while grasping the situation, taking measures to prevent crimes, contributing to ensuring local security and order and promoting socio-economic development.

* On this occasion, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security inquired after and offered gifts to officers and soldiers of the Tra Co Border Guard Station.
