Mobile Police High Command rolls out working program for 2020

The Mobile Police High Command on December 30 held a conference to deploy its working program in 2020. Major General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and spoke at the conference.

At the event, Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of Mobile Police briefed delegates on the unit's task performance in 2019. Accordingly, in 2019, the Mobile Police High Command has directed its subordinate units, in coordination with other functional forces, to well ensure political security, social order and safety, contributing to socio-economic development and foreign cooperation of the country.

Particularly, over the year, the Mobile Police High Command has mobilized armed police contingents to successfully safeguard more than 600 projects, nearly 39,500 special shipments, nearly 1,000 deliveries of documents, protect over 6,000 conferences, meetings or political, socio-cultural and diplomatic events.

The mobile police force also participated in ensuring public order and security during major national holidays and absolute safety for international delegations visiting and working in Vietnam. The High Command has assigned 4,200 officers and soldiers to support the 10 police agencies and local units in successfully fighting 32 specialized criminal cases.

Meanwhile, the whole force focused on continuously innovating the training contents and methods to improve the quality of training, meeting the task requirements in the new situation.

Speaking at the conference, on behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc hailed the important achievements obtained by the Mobile Police High Command over the past year.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc requested the Mobile Police High Command to direct its subordinate units to successfully fulfill the requirements and assigned tasks in the current situation.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc also suggested the High Command to effectively carry out maneuvers and drills, join people in preventing natural disasters while upholding the sense of solidarity and mobilizing all people to participate in protecting national security and social order.

The Mobile Police High Command should also attach great importance to Party and force building and improving the movement “Building image of brave and humane police officers in the eye of the people.”
