PSNews – The High Command of Mobile Police on Tuesday held the closing ceremony of the 2018 Sports, Public Security Regulations, Military Skills and Martial Arts Festival.
Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong, Commander of the Mobile Police Force, Head of the Organizing Committee attended the event.
The festival for the Mobile Police this year was organized on a bigger scale and embraced both of theoretical and practical contents.
The festival drew the participation of 1,600 police officers and soldiers from18 subordinate units under the High Command, competing in 4 different categories, including Excellent Trainers, Public Security Regulations, Military Skills, and Martial Arts.
To select athletes for the sport festivals, qualifiers had been held at the grassroots level of the 3 emulation groups under the High Command. After nearly 4 months competing in the spirit of honesty, nobleness and high records, the whole tourney ended in success.
At the closing ceremony, the organizers presented the first prize to the North East Mobile Police Regiment. The second prize went to Special Police Battalion No.1 and the third prize went to the Hanoi Mobile Police Regiment. Both of the North Central Mobile Police Regiment and Special Police Battalion No.2 received the “Consolation” prize. The High Command also honored 36 police officers with the title “Excellent Trainer’ in 2018.
Speaking at the festival, Lieutenant General Pham Quoc Cuong affirmed that the festival held an important meaning. It was a chance to evaluate the results of units’ training of public security regulations, military skills and martial arts on one hand; and it also improved awareness of discipline observance and unity among the mobile police force.By An Nhien
