New Director of Ben Tre Provincial Police appointed

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh presents the decision to appoint Senior Colonel Vo Hung Minh to the post of Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Police Department.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Party Central Committee’s member, Deputy Minister of Public Security on October 6 chaired a ceremony to announce decisions by the Minister of Public Security on personnel.

The ceremony saw presence of Mr. Pham Van Mai, Secretary of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Cao Van Trong, Chairman of the Ben Tre Provincial People’s Committee.

Authorized by the Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security announced the decision to appoint Senior Colonel Vo Hung Minh to the post of Director of the Ben Tre Provincial Police Department.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh asked the newly appointed officer to promote the glorious traditions of the Public Security Forces and successfully fulfill his new assigned tasks.

Senior Colonel Vo Hung Minh expressed his honor to be promoted and promised to continue to heighten his sense of responsibility, drill in morality, broaden knowledge and work closely with other leaders of the Ben Tre Provincial Police Department to successfully fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party and the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security.
