New Director of Lang Son and Cao Bang Provincial Police appointed

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh handing over the decision to Senior Colonel Thai Hong Cong.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the event.

At the event, under the authority of the Minister of Public Security, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh announced and handed over a retirement decision to Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Thuc, who will leave the post of Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also announced and handed over a decision on the appointment to Senior Colonel Thai Hong Cong, who will take the post of Director of the Lang Son Provincial Police Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh highlighted the contributions of Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Truc to the Public Security Forces, saying that he hass successfully fulfilled the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the Ministry.

Regarding the newly appointed Director, the Deputy Minister requested that Senior Colonel Thai Hong Cong should heighten his sense of responsibility, promote the unit’s solidarity, maintain police discipline, and lead the local police forces to overcome all challenges and successfully fulfill all assigned tasks.  

On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also announced visited the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department and handed over a decision on the appointment to Senior Colonel Vu Hong Quang, who will take the post of Director of the Cao Bang Provincial Police Department.
