New leader of Thanh Hoa Police appointed
PSNews – The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 21 organized a ceremony to announce a decision of the Minister of Public Security on the appointment of a new Director of the Provincial Police Department of Thanh Hoa.

The ceremony saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security; Mr. Trinh Van Chien, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; and representatives of the provincial leadership, relevant agencies of the MPS and the Provincial Police Directorate.

At the meeting, Major General Dinh Huy Hieu, Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, announced the decision of the Minister of Public Security to post Major General Nguyen Hai Trung, former Vice Director of the General Department of Politics, to the position of Director of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.
On behalf of the leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh handed the decision to Major General Nguyen Hai Trung and congratulated General Trung on his new position.
He also asked him to complete his assigned tasks and join common efforts to build the Party Committee and the Directorate of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.
