Nghe An Police roll out working plan for 2021

The Nghe An Provincial Police Department held a meeting on December 26 to review the local police’s performance of tasks in 2020 and roll out new plans for 2021.

Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.

According to reports delivered at the conference, the police force of Nghe An province has improved the quality of their task performance in all aspects as well as promoted the emulation movement "For the national security" in both breadth and depth.

The local police successfully investigated more than 1,300 drug-related cases and arrested 1,800 offenders, seized 38.3 kg of heroin and many other exhibits. They also solved 142 cases of economic and environmental crimes and prosecuted 184 persons involved.

At the event, the Deputy Minister asked the provincial police to focus on ensuring security in religious groups, border areas and economic sectors while paying attention to popularizing good models in the movement “All people protect the national security”. 

The local police should also attach importance to Party and force building work, the Deputy Minister asked.

At the event, under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam awarded the Third-class “Feat of Arms” Order to Major General Vo Trong Hai, Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department.

Under the authority of the State President, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam also presented the Third-class Fatherland Protection Orders to excellent police officers of Nghe An.
