Northwestern national distribution and stockpiling center inaugurated

The General Department of Logistics and Techniques under the Ministry of Public Security held a inauguration ceremony to open the Northwestern National Distribution and Stockpiling Center on May 31, in Yen Bai province.

Lieutenant General Bui Van Thanh, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the ceremony. Lieutenant General Ksor Nham, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics and Techniques chaired the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Lieutenant General Ksor Nham said that, in the past few years, the Central Public Security Party Committee issued new policies to create a platform for the  logistics and techniques sector to improve its working quality meeting the task requirements in the current situation.

The decision on the building of the center in Yen Bai has been considered one of the fundamental solutions to actively serve public security forces stationed in the Northwestern region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh praised the participating units for their great effort during  the project implementation.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Thanh instructed the General Department of Logistics and Techniques to work out a suitable plan to manage the center efficiently.

The General Department should also closely cooperate with relevant units to soon finish other remaining construction items while ensuring security and fire safety for the center.
