Officers participating in Counterintelligence Plan CM12 gather in Ca Mau

PSNews - The Public Security Central Party Committee and Ministry of Public Security on September 5 organized a meeting to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the victory of Counterintelligence Plan CM12.

The meeting, which took place in the Hon Da Bac Historical Site, Khanh Binh Tay commune, Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province, was chaired by Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

The meeting saw the presence of Mr. Duong Thanh Binh, Party Central Committee's member, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Khanh Toan, former Deputy Minister of Public Security, and some 300 public security veterans who participated in Plan CM12.

At the meeting, delegates recalled the 74 year history of the Public Security Forces and the victory of Plan CM12.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang expressed his respect for the public security veterans, who had devoted their energy and intelligence to the resounding feat of arms in Counterintelligence Plan CM12, contributing to glorifying the heroic tradition the Public Security Forces.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang also asked all public security agencies and units to promote information about the victory and study the lesson drawn from Plan CM12.

 In the spirit of the victory, he urged all public security agencies and units to promote the movement of learning and following Uncle Ho's ideology, morals and his 6 teachings to the Public Security Forces.

Earlier, the delegates paid tribute to Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in the Hon Da Bac Historical Site.
