Over 450 pieces compete in 2019 Public Security Television and Radio Festival

• 12th Public Security Television and Radio Festival to take place in Hue City
• Seven pieces of Public Security Television compete in 2018 National Television Festival

According to the organizers, radio and television agencies nationwide inside and outside the Public Security Forces have so far sent over 450 television and radio pieces to the contest.

The Public Security Television and Radio Festival is hosted in every two years by the Public Security Department of Information and Communications under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS).

More than 60 delegations with nearly 500 delegates have registered to participate in the festival. The delegates include reporters and editors at the public security radio and television agencies at all levels as well as officers and reporters working at information teams of the police departments of provinces and cities, at the high commands, under-ministerial departments and units, and public security schools.

Within the framework of the festival, there will be other sideline events, such as a photo exhibition, and a special exchange program among the participating teams.

The opening ceremony will take place at 8 pm on September 9. The closing ceremony will take place at 8 pm on September 13. Both opening and closing ceremonies of the festival will be held at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Cultural Hall in Hue City and  broadcast live on the ANTV channel, VTV8 channel and the ThuaThien Hue Radio and Television channel.
