Over 700 police officers joins Police Regulations and Martial Art competition

PSNews - The Hanoi Road and Rail Traffic Police Office on September 12 organized the Regulations and Martial Art Competition 2017. Major General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended the event.

The competition witnessed the participation of more than 700 police officers and soldiers in 19 teams.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son stressed that, over the past years, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the Ministry leaders have determined the military regulations training as a key task for all public security forces in an effort to build a professional, elite and modern revolutionary police force.

Over the past years, the Hanoi Municipal Police have demonstrated that it has focused on and made much progress in training military regulations and martial art, the Deputy Minister said. As a result, most officers and soldiers of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department have become more aware of, had a high sense of responsibility for observing the discipline, protocol and manner, and improved their fitness and health so as to successfully fulfill their assignments.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also praised the leaders of the Hanoi Municipal Police, who well and frequently organized training drives on military regulations and martial art, reaching the set targets.

In order to continue to well practice the military regulations and martial art, with the aim of building a brave and humane police to better serve the people, the Deputy Minister urged the Hanoi Municipal Police Directorate to direct its affiliated forces, including the Traffic Police force, to well conduct training dives on military regulations and martial art and at the same time, increase monitoring and inspecting police officers and soldiers to prevent them from wrongdoings at work and promote the pioneer role of the public security forces in Hanoi
