PPC2 popularizes traffic regulations to its students and people

PSNews – People’s Police College 2 in collaboration with Honda Binh Minh Company on August 24 held the program “Students join hands in building traffic culture” and “Traffic safety for community” for over 3,500 students and residents of Thu Duc Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to Major Ngo Thanh Son, Secretary of People’s Public Security College 2’s Youth Union chapter, at the program, Youth Union members and first-year students of the school as well as local residents were provided with knowledge of the Traffic Law, traffic culture and how to give first aid to traffic victims.

During the program, Honda company also instructed participating students and local residents on safe driving skills, offered free oil change to over 450 motorcycles, presented scholarships to 17 valedictorians, and handed over 500 helmets to students of the school.

Major Ngo Thanh Son affirmed that, the program contributed to raising the sense of responsibility of youth union members of the school for complying with the Traffic Law, as well as improving students’ awareness of traffic culture, ensuring safety for themselves and the community, and reducing traffic accidents.
