PPSF health sector urged to take good care of health of officers and soldiers

In 2019, the public security health sector has achieved outstanding achievements in good management over healthcare, medical examination and treatment, compilation of health-related legal documents and healthcare regulations.

Further, the sector focused on training health workers and improving the working ethics of medical workers, applying advanced technologies to its medical examination and treatment, investing in medical facilities, and mobilized various financial sources for healthcare services in the PPSF.
Hospitals of provincial police departments, prisons and detention facilities have tried their best to prevent epidemics in the PPSF and take due care of the health of public security officers and soldiers as conducted various social programs for policy beneficiaries, offenders and detainees.
In addition, the PPSF health sector has researched a number of traditional medicine projects and expanded international cooperation, contributing to the good results of the task performance of the PPSF.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son highly appreciated the achievements and contributions of the health sector to the general achievements of the PPSF in protecting security and ensuring public order over the past time.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son requested the sector to study and improve the legal framework, mechanisms and policies on health and health insurance for officers and soldiers of the PPSF.
Deputy Minister urged the public security health sector to continue improving the quality of healthcare services at all public security health facilities, building a good and friendly "hospital culture", and improving the working ethics and attitude of all medical workers to always satisfy patients.
Leaders of the public security health sector should invest suitably in upgrading medical facilities of the PPSF while efficiently managing all investments and use of medicines, equipment and other medical supplies in an economical, effective and transparent manner.
