PSN Editor-in-Chief presents building to Executive Board of Quarter 3 in HCMC

PSNews – Major General Pham Van Mien, Editor in Chief of the Public Security Newspaper (PSN) on February 20 handed over an office building to the Executive Board of Residential Quarter 3, Tan Hung Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

The 2-story building, which costs 350 million VND, including 100 million VND from the local people and 250 million VND from the PSN’s fund, covers an area of nearly 100m2.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Pham Van Mien congratulated the Tan Hung Ward leadership and the Executive Board of Residential Quarter 3, and expressed hope that the building will be used efficiently as its main purpose is to support the local force in better maintaining security and order in the locality.

The building, according to the chief of the newspaper of the People’s Public Security Forces, is organized into several function sections such as a station of the street civil guard force, meeting hall for meetings of the local Party organization and social organizations, and a room for local officials to receive the people.

 

The PSN, on its 70 years of development, has made major efforts to heighten working and living conditions for thousands of public security officers and people across the country.

The newspaper of the Public Security Forces also well connected the benefactors with the poor people, contributing to building many gratitude houses; handing tens of thousands of gifts to people in need, helping them overcome difficulties; and supporting many poor students to schools.
