PSU presents "Comradeship" house to family of fallen police officer

PSNews - The Public Security University (PSU) on November 25 in coordination with the Vinh Long Provincial Chapter of Youth Union held a meeting in Hieu Thao hamlet, Hieu Nghia ward, Vung Liem District, Vinh Long province to present a “Comradeship” house to the family of fallen police officer Nguyen Thanh Tuan Em.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tuan Em (born in 1984) was a police officer of Binh Tan district, Vinh Long province. He passed away in 2011 in a traffic accident.

Colonel Huynh Van Dang, deputy head of the Party, Political and Public Affair Department of the Public Security University said, Mrs. Vo Thi Kim Yen (born in 1989, in Hieu Thao hamlet) - wife of comrade Em, is living in a very difficult state. 

She does not have a stable job but earns a low income from seasonal jobs, which does not meet the need for her family and cannot afford to support her children’s schooling.

In implementing the university’s Youth Union program and youth movement in 2017, the Public Security University provided financial supports to build a “Comradeship” house for the family of comrade Em.

At the house handover, Yen was really touched expressing her sincere thanks. Since today, she and her children have a warm home to live and she can have more dynamism to work and bring her children up.
