People Security Academy’s youths help Yen Bai’s locals overcome flood consequences

In response to the summer youth volunteer campaigns 2018 launched by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ministry of Public Security’s Youth Union, the volunteer team of the People Security Academy from June 26 to July 2 visited and presented gifts to needy families in Khau Ly village, Ban Mu commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai province.

The young security officers also helped local overcome consequences of the recent flooding. They cleaned up the surroundings and repaired damaged houses. They then joined hands with locals in harvesting rice crops.

Via the program, the People Security Academy’s youths could understand more about the difficulties of the mountainous people in Yen Bai so they became more energetic and willing to contribute their youthfulness to supporting people to overcome difficulties.
