People’s Police Academy organizes full moon festival for upland children

PSNews - All members of the Youth Organization of the People's Police Academy and students of Thai Nien 1 Primary School made star lights, performed flash-mob dances and enjoyed many other exciting music performances.

The Youth Organization of the People's Police Academy in collaboration with the A Mu Sung Border Guard Station held a mid-autumn festival on September 30 evening for over 300 children of the Thai Nien 1 Primary School, Mom Dao 2 hamlet, Thai Nien commune, Bao Thang district, Lao Cai province.

Thai Nien is considered an extremely difficult commune under the Programme 135 of the Prime Minister on "Socio-economic Development of the Most Vulnerable Communes in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in Vietnam". 

With the desire to bring needy children a meaningful full-moon programme, the Youth Organization of the People's Police Academy in collaboration with the A Mu Sung Border Guard Station held this party with the support of other youth organizations within the Ministry of Public Security.

All members of the Youth Organization of the People's Police Academy and students of Thai Nien 1 Primary School made star lights, performed flash-mob dances and enjoyed many other exciting music performances.

On this occasion, the Youth Organization of the People's Police Academy presented a souvenir painting to Thai Nien 1 Primary School; 30 scholarships to needy students with outstanding academic records; 310 uniforms; 1,200 notebooks; 200 food trays.

In addition, the Youth Organization of the A Mu Sung Border Guard Station offered over 300 mooncakes to students of Thai Nien 1 Primary School.
